Smart paint which changes colour when the temperature drops will be used across major highways to highlight icy conditions. The paint turns red when it freezes (from 1* to -1*) and turns back to white once the temperature rises.
Billboards with directions & gentle reminders to change your tires at Canadian Tire's Auto service will be placed along the highways which have the smart paint. Additionally, the billboards will have a sensor so as to send push notifications to people driving by them if they have the Canadian Tire app.

Additionally discounts and reminders to change your tires will be sent out through December and again in end of March.
